We Need Your Help - We Need Volunteers
We are looking for volunteers who can help us on a reoccurring basis. Roles we need filling include:
- Drivers for our food pick ups: if you have a clean driving record and can drive a large cargo van, we would love your help driving to pick up food from our recovery partner locations, like Dublin and Newark.
- Desk registration: if you are out going and love to talk to people, we need help at our desks, engaging with our clients, and using computers to record food assistance and make appointments.
- Website management & web content: if you have skills in website management or web content writing, our one and only webmaster would love your help to work and help us continually improving our website. Our website is the front door to our communication messaging about who we are and what we do.
- Translators: our clients speak several different languages, we are always in need of volunteers who speak Spanish (Latin America) and Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese).
If you are interested in volunteering your time, please contact us at slzfoodbank@gmail.com .
